Today---June 14, 2007

Well, let's just say that today went a lot smoother. My knee is not so bad anymore, it's just itching. It's healing. But it's not so bad that it's uncomfortable. . .after all, I can walk on it (I'm not supposed to, though :p)
I've just been thinking about it this way: God meant for me to have a sist in my meniscus, and He meant for it to tear right now. That way, it didn't happen while I was in Europe. I know I must go, because for some reason, I feel that something might happen.
You know how you get excited right before you embark on a great journey? Well, that's how I've felt. It isn't my first time going across the big pond, but it will be my first time on mainland Europe. Two years ago, I traveled to England, Ireland, and Wales, on a luxiourious 2o-day stay. Great memories!
If I don't end up going, there is Fall to look up to. After all, there's New York City, and Phantom of the Opera!
Well, I guess I should finish my post for the day, because. . .my cat is being her usual michevious self. The other day, she walked right across my bad knee, and I flung her into the air.
Until we speak again. Au revoir.

Today---Wednesday, June 13, 2007

Phbbt...well, today was off to a great start, beside the gradual pain in my knee. You see, I've just had arthroscopic (sp?) surgery to fix my meniscus in my left knee. A sist burst, and that's what tore it. I'm pretty beat up, and the doctor says I can't walk on it for two to three weeks! It's frustrating when you can't walk, especially when it's two feet in front of you! Well, oh well...healing is slow...especially on your joints.
I guess I should say I'm tired of being "crippled." I'm leaving for Europe on July 13th, and I HAVE to be better by then. I'll post an update tomorrow.
